Dover, Del – June 20, 2024 – AI EdgeLabs today announced that it has achieved Red Hat OpenShift Operator Certification. As part of the Red Hat partner ecosystem, Red Hat OpenShift Operator Certification offers customers and independent software vendors (ISVs) greater confidence when building cloud-native applications on Red Hat OpenShift, the industry’s leading hybrid cloud application platform powered by Kubernetes. As a certified Red Hat OpenShift Operator, AI EdgeLabs plans to streamline and enhance security operations for customers by optimizing its advanced AI-driven cybersecurity solutions with Red Hat OpenShift.
AI EdgeLabs provides an innovative lightweight and high-performant on-device solution designed to secure distributed edge computing infrastructure and hybrid cloud with GenAI-based end-to-end cybersecurity. By combining AI EdgeLabs' cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions with the automation capabilities of Red Hat OpenShift, customers can streamline the deployment and management of security applications across hybrid cloud environments.
This collaboration can offer significant benefits to customers, including real-time threat detection and response, reduced operational complexity and manual intervention, minimizing human errors in cybersecurity operations. By using AI EdgeLabs' integrated platform, which combines NDR, EDR, IDS and IPS capabilities in a lightweight container, powered by AI and ML algorithms, customers can have greater confidence in the reliability and scalability of the integrated solution, backed by Red Hat's industry-leading hybrid cloud application platform.
"This certification is a significant milestone for AI EdgeLabs, reflecting our commitment to providing cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions for modern hybrid cloud environments. With the Red Hat OpenShift Operator Certification, our customers can have greater confidence in deploying our solutions, knowing they are supported by Red Hat's robust platform and ecosystem." - Inna Ushakova, CEO, AI EdgeLabs.
Red Hat OpenShift provides a consistent foundation for building, running and deploying applications across the hybrid cloud. Red Hat OpenShift Operators automate the creation, configuration and management of instances of Kubernetes-native applications - providing automation at every level of the stack. They help organizations to increase the overall manageability of production environments by reducing manual intervention and human error. To make it easier to build cloud-native applications, Red Hat and the community created and maintained the Operator Framework, an open source toolkit to build and manage Red Hat OpenShift Operators in an automated way without extensive Kubernetes knowledge.
Red Hat OpenShift Operators are continuously monitored to reduce interoperability or security risks, and is backed up by collaborative support between Red Hat and its partners.
AI EdgeLabs participated in Red Hat OpenShift Operator Certification which enables partners to certify their Operators for use on Red Hat OpenShift. Each provider must meet testing and certification requirements to demonstrate that they can deliver a scalable, supported and consistent Operator designed for enterprise cloud deployments. The global program provides customers, ISVs and partners with the confidence that Red Hat product experts have validated a solution so that they can achieve portability and operational efficiency across hybrid and multicloud environments. AI EdgeLabs has passed OpenShift Operator Certification and will be listed in the OperatorHub.
“We are pleased to recognize AI EdgeLabs as a Red Hat OpenShift Certified Operator,” said Katie Giglio, senior director, Ecosystem Development, Red Hat. “With certified OpenShift Operators like AI EdgeLabs, customers can benefit from a tested, validated solution to help streamline application management and deployment across hybrid cloud environments.”
