We’re looking for a Cybersecurity Penetration Tester to join our team to develop our core disruptive product — Edgelabs.ai an AI-powered cybersecurity platform that brings advanced network visibility, early threat detection, and automated incident response in the Edge or on-prem environment.
As a QA Engineer specializing in Cybersecurity Penetration Testing, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and effectiveness of our agent-based cybersecurity solution for Linux OS. This solution comprises various components, including IDS (Intrusion Detection System), IPS (Intrusion Prevention System), EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response), and more, designed to detect and protect against a wide range of network and host-based cyberattacks. You will work closely with the ML&DE&CyberSecurity team to maintain the high quality of the product for EdgeLabs customers. That participation includes detection quality of the Sensor and ecosystem between Sensor / Backend API, and building test-automation infrastructure including testbeds.
Essential position responsibilities:
Designing and implementing manual and automated tests ecosystem between Sensor / Backend API.
Participate in creation of the end-to-end test infrastructure for testing cyber-security attacks and product detection quality.
Work closely with devops and cyber security teams on building test cluster for cyber security experiments and product validation.
Apply cyber test tools and develop strategies for cybersecurity testing of the internal and external deployments.
Perform system security analysis on systems and/or software to understand and identify cyber vulnerabilities.
Required skills:
2+ years of hands-on experience.
Experience with software Testing Automation tools.
Experience with Docker or Kubernetes.
Experience in software development (DevSecOps, Python etc.).
Web-based application security concepts.
Understanding of network security/engineering.
Good Knowledge of Linux Operating Systems.
Experience using tools like metasploit, burp suite, nmap and others.
Experience in cybersecurity testing and/or leading cyber test events.
Experience with designing, implementing, and conducting test and evaluation procedures.
Broad knowledge of quality assurance methodologies (both manual and automated) and processes.
Analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
